Stay in Touch, Plan Get-Togethers: Delt Brotherhood is for Life!

We have all read the articles that use data and science to prove that as you get older, maintaining friendships with the people you knew when you were younger can improve your health. That is not to say that keeping in touch with old friends and making plans to see each other is easy. Our careers, children, financial limitations and lack-of-time are all legitimate reasons for letting our relationships fall by the wayside. That being said, if there was ever a time for Miami Delt Alumni Brothers to make the effort to reach out to old friends and try to plan a gathering or small get-together, it is now.

Fraternity Chapters that face adversity with their undergrads and their respective university go through tough times. It is hard to see your entire Chapter pay for the mistakes of a few. The GOOD NEWS is that we have not stopped our efforts to keep our Alumni connected. We have a direct line of contact to our Delt Brothers with our Alumni website www.miamidelts.com. Check out the directory (you will need a login so if you don't have one, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will get you set up) and make sure your name is in there and not on our Lost List. Send us an update and let us know what has been happening in your life and by all means, reach out to a few Brothers and try to set aside some time for a little fun and reminiscing.

Food, Drink, Fellowship & Atmosphere: Remembering Our Favorite Oxford Bars and Restaurants

No matter where you are in your life, what you are doing or who you are with, one thing remains constant day-in and day-out; We all have to eat. Food and drink are essential human needs for every living person from every walk of life. Therefore, some of our best memories, most meaningful conversations and most important moments of our lives and friendships with Delt Brothers happened over dinner or drinks, sitting down face-to-face at one or our favorite spots in Oxford.

Restaurants and bars in college towns can act as refuges for students weary from academia, friends looking to blow off steam and groups of people meeting to discuss common goals. There is something about sharing food and drink during these life moments, in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that make these moments all-the-more memorable and important.
