I am semi-retired, living in Richmond, VA working with MBA students at the University of Richmond after 35 years of running three different organizations.  I have three children all married and living in Richmond. We have two grandkids and another on the way!

I did not have a favorite specific place on campus, so much as the experience of walking many areas of campus, from the formal gardens, to Upham Arch, to the original football field and of course uptown and the beautiful neighborhood streets. It was special because of my family legacy at MU and also because many of those walks were with my then-fiancee. I enjoyed many of the annual Delt events and parties like Great Pumpkin. Other great memories where shared during the opening of football season, Greek Week, the first week of back to school.

Fortunately, I still own my forty-five-year-old business along with my twenty-five years working with national security. I am proud to be able to supply experience and products to the building of Navy & Coast Guard ships, as well as Army ammunition plants. You can never do enough for your country. During my time as an undergrad many of our Brothers were war vets and were older than us. We grew up faster with the knowledge they shared with us. They treated us as mature adults and it prepared us for our next stage of life.

I frequented the College Inn, as it was owned by one of the Brothers. I even worked there for a while and it was a great place to see the majority of your friends and classmates. Homecoming was always a highlight in the fall. I always brought in hometown friends, mostly good-looking girls that I dated at home. Married one 58 years ago. I also enjoyed working on committees to put together class reunions.
