Last month we asked each of you who met your significant others through Gamma Upsilon Chapter to share your love stories with the rest of us in honor of Valentine’s Day. Brother Dennis Yohe '71 shared this story with us:

“I first randomly met Kittie Wilson at the Boars Head just after Christmas break during junior year to let off some 'academic' steam while dancing to the great East Orange Express band and quaffing several 3.2% Oxford beers. I spotted this lovely young girl amongst a gaggle of Chi Omegas, asked her to dance and we had a fantastic evening. I then asked her to that next weekend’s always fun Delt party at the Shelter where the brothers immediately took to her and nicknamed her “Birdlegs” which has stuck to this day! We married during our senior year (February 6, 1971) at the Sesquicentennial Chapel and, being broke of course, had the reception at the Shelter. We spent our first two years in Australia, returned to the US, had two lovely children (our daughter graduated from Miami in 1999) and are now enjoying life in retirement.”
